One Day Retreats
The One-Day Retreat will teach simple mindfulness meditations. It is about learning to integrate mindfulness into our daily lives. Some practices we will review are sitting meditation, mindful movement, mindful eating, and listening to short lectures. Retreats are silent, with teaching in between meditation practices. There will also be opportunities for group questions and answers.
Retreats are a good opportunity to practice, ask questions, and discover ways to apply mindfulness and meditation techniques to your everyday life.
Eligibility: a minimum of four recent in-person or online Friday classes with the teacher, previous meditation experience, and a brief meeting with the teacher beforehand.
Registration: please pre-register by email one week in advance of the retreat date. Please do not email more than two weeks before your desired retreat.
Cost: $40, or sliding scale according to one’s means.
