The world needs our love, but the kind of love that is present in the world often leads to suffering. Like a seed that has been stunted by a deficient environment from maturing and becoming its inherent potential, so has our love and our world become distorted and stunted. When we begin to expand our love to include the rest of the world, we find that our love becomes limitless in its capacity to hold self, other and the world in its healing embrace.
